New Zealand suffers another setback before second ODI against Pakistan

New Zealand's middle-order batsman, who scored a century in the first ODI against Pakistan, suffered an injury and was ruled out of the second match.

According to media reports, the Kiwis have suffered a major setback in the second ODI of the series against Pakistan. Middle-order batsman Mark Chapman has suffered an injury, due to which he has been rested for the second match.


The second ODI of the series between the two teams will be played tomorrow, the Kiwi team has a 0-1 lead in the three-match series.

Mark Chapman played a brilliant innings of 132 in the first match against Pakistan, which included 6 sixes and 13 fours.

According to New Zealand Cricket, Mark Chapman has suffered a hamstring injury in his right foot.


According to New Zealand Cricket, Tim Seifert has been included in the squad in place of Mark Chapman.

Mark Chapman suffered an injury while fielding in the first ODI match, after which he underwent an MRI scan, where it was revealed that the cricketer has a grade one injury.
